An insight into the aspects that any emergency plan should include, how that translates into a safer workplace. The spotlight will also be turned on how fire safety must be incorporated into these plans and the role that fire systems play to contribute to people safety.

Marius joined the Boksburg Fire Department in 1985 and has performed Operation, Training, PIER and Fire Safety functions during the 25 years in the Service, which became the Ekurhuleni Emergency Services.

He moved to Eskom in 2011 as Functional Leader on Fire Risk and Emergency Management (FREMan) and he is currently the  CEO at FPASA a position he has held since January 2024.
